That's in

I need a meme, gosh darn it. I'm running on absolute empty.

I tell you what, though, I've had it with the undecideds. Have I gone here before? There's no way these two guys equally suck. This is not 2000. I get voting a third party, and I could even get being undecided between a third party and one of the big guys, but holy hell, people, it's not like there's just little differences between the big guys.

either one's a fiscally responsible war hero and the other's a terrorist-loving socialist or one's the practical thinker with a solid plan for the future and the other's an out-of-touch whack-job.

there really is no middle ground here.

really.

so make up your minds already and vote!

Write to Marry Day

I'm taking a second out of my mad Teacher Work Sample dash to participate, however feebly, in Write to Marry Day.

Proposition 8 is dumb and just plain mean. I have no loquacious or graceful arguments on this one. People who are adults and who love each other should be able to get married. Plain and simple.

Google is much more eloquent on this, so go read their take.

Homesick?

Last year at this time we were in Paris.

Paris! It looked kinda like this:

And then we went to London.

Seriously! London! Where this lady was deeply offended by sculpture:

And where Autumn looked like this:

So the question is this: is it possible to be homesick for somewhere you've never lived? Because I think I just might be.

Hungry

Do you ever get so hungry that your whole world turns a little red? I'm about that hungry now, and absolutely furious with the pizza delivery people. I understand that my house is kinda hard to find. But it's their job to find houses! Plus it's the 21st century. Every pizza person around should have GPS and cell phones.  Or better yet, supersonic tubes underground connecting every house and restaurant in a 5 mile radius to one another

YES!!

Underground pneumatic food tubes! From Rose's Deli and that Thai place!

See, pizza delivery people? Now I don't even want your dumb food anymore.

The First Saturday

...or anyways, the first real Saturday I've had in a while.

I'm catching up on Google Reader and listening to Fatboy's Geek: Remixed which is excellent. Current track: "Public Defender"--the "Night Court" theme made hipster-bar friendly.  Also in the free download: Nas's "Made You Look" mashed up with the Kill Bill soundtrack and an awesome version of the Muppet Show theme.
